Access Type¶
Role Authorization¶
- You need to use the external ID generated by default by Guance to configure role authorization.
- After configuring the authorized role in the Alibaba Cloud Console, fill in the archive information, including the Alibaba Cloud Account ID, OSS Role Name, Region, and Bucket Name.
- Enter the Storage Path to facilitate further differentiation and locating of the specific data forwarding location.

If the test fails:
You need to confirm:
- Whether the authorization was successful
- Whether the Account ID is correct
- Whether the Bucket exists
- Whether the Region is inconsistent
Exercise caution in the following situations:
- If you click "Regenerate External ID", the historical ID will become invalid after 24 hours. Please replace it in the Alibaba Cloud console as soon as possible.
- Do not click "Generate External ID" multiple times. Please proceed with caution!

- You need to configure the Guance RAM policy in Alibaba Cloud. After configuration is complete, fill in the account information by entering the Alibaba Cloud Access Key (AK) & Secret Key (SK), Region, and Bucket Name.
- Enter the Storage Path to facilitate further differentiation and locating of the specific data forwarding location.

- After configuration is complete, select the Region and enter the Bucket Name.
- Enter the Storage Path to facilitate further differentiation and locating of the specific data forwarding location.
- Click "Test Connection". If the above information meets the specifications, a successful connection test will be indicated. Click "Confirm" to save the current rule.
If the test fails:
You need to confirm:
- Whether the Account ID is correct

Storage Path Naming Convention¶
- To create a single folder or multiple levels of folders, use a forward slash (/) to indicate multiple levels.
- Folder names cannot start or end with a forward slash (/).
- Cannot contain two or more consecutive forward slashes (//).
- Applicable to all access types.
Note
- If the entered folder does not exist, the system will create it directly, and data will still be saved to that path.
- Please change the storage path with caution. Due to a configuration update delay of approximately 5 minutes, some data might still be forwarded to the original directory after the change.
Next Steps¶
Continue to configure the Data Viewing Permissions for the current forwarding rule.
