Guance Mobile SDK Privacy Policy


This confidentiality agreement is entered into by Shanghai Guance Future Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guance"), the operator of Guance, and the user. This privacy policy aims to help you understand what information this application collects, the purposes for which it collects such information, and how it protects this information.

Scope of Application

This policy applies to Guance SDK products and services.

Personal Information Collected, How It Is Collected, and Its Purpose

Device Information

We collect device attribute information (such as hardware model, operating system version, device configuration, unique device identifiers (Android ID), International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), network equipment hardware address MAC, advertising identifier IDFA), and device connection information (carrier information, language information). We may combine this information with personal information to provide consistent services on these devices.

Network Information

Network information refers to IP addresses, WiFi information, and base station information. Collecting this information helps identify users and accurately profile them.

Application Information

Application information includes crash reports and application logs. Collecting this information aims to improve user experience, optimize APM, and diagnose issues like application lagging or errors.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

When you use our services, to ensure the proper functioning of the website, we store small data files called Cookies on your device. Cookies typically contain identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters, mainly used to conveniently provide you with platform products or services and assist in counting unique visitors. Through Cookie technology, we can offer more personalized services and allow you to set specific service options. When you use our platform products or services or interact with our partner services, Cookies (or other anonymous identifiers) are sent to our servers. We do not use Cookies for any purpose outside this policy. You can manage or delete Cookies as needed; most browsers support blocking Cookie functionality. However, please note that this may cause you to reset user options each time you visit the site or be unable to use certain features and services dependent on Cookies.

Information Usage

  1. Guance will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information with any irrelevant third party unless we have obtained your prior consent, or the third party (including associated companies of Guance) provides services alone or jointly with us, and after the service ends, they will be prohibited from accessing all previously accessible information;

  2. Guance also does not permit any third party to collect, edit, sell, or freely disseminate your personal information. Any Guance user engaging in such activities will result in immediate termination of the service agreement with Guance upon discovery;

  3. For ICSP service clients, Guance strictly maintains confidentiality regarding any related information, solutions, architectures obtained during cooperation. Unless specifically permitted by you, Guance will not share such information with any third party.

Information Disclosure

In the following situations, Guance will disclose your personal information in whole or in part based on your personal preference or legal requirements:

  1. With your prior consent, disclosure to a third party;

  2. If you are a qualified intellectual property complainant and have filed a complaint, disclosure to the complained party at their request to resolve potential rights disputes;

  3. Disclosure to a third party or administrative or judicial authorities as required by law or administrative or judicial institutions;

  4. Disclosure if you violate Chinese laws, regulations, or Guance's service agreements or related rules;

  5. Disclosure to a third party when necessary to provide you with requested products and services;

  6. In transactions created on Guance, if one party fulfills or partially fulfills the transaction obligations and requests information disclosure, Guance has the right to decide to provide necessary information such as contact details to facilitate the completion of the transaction or resolution of disputes;

  7. Other disclosures deemed appropriate by Guance according to law, regulations, or website policies.

Information Storage and Exchange

Information and materials collected by Guance about you will be stored on Guance’s and/or its affiliated companies' servers. This information and data may be transmitted to countries, regions, or locations outside your country where Guance collects information and materials, and may be accessed, stored, and displayed outside your country.

Information Security

  1. Please properly safeguard your account and password information. Guance will ensure the security of your information through measures such as server backups and encryption of user passwords. Despite these security measures, please note that there are no absolutely perfect security measures on the internet;

  2. When using Guance services for online transactions, you may need to disclose personal information to the transaction party or potential parties, such as contact information or postal addresses. Please protect your personal information and only provide it when necessary. If you find your personal information has been leaked, especially if your Guance account and password have been compromised, please immediately contact Guance customer service so we can take appropriate measures;

  3. Users cannot currently initiate account deletion. To delete an account, please contact Guance customer service. Within 10 working days of receiving the deletion request, we will complete the account deletion. We will retain user information until account deletion. After account deletion, we will not use your personal information for commercial purposes.

Special Notes for Minors

If you are not a fully capable natural person under the law, you do not have the right to use Guance services. Therefore, Guance hopes you do not provide us with any personal information.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

  1. Our privacy policy may be revised;

  2. Without your explicit consent, we will not restrict your rights under this privacy policy. We will post any revisions to the privacy policy on a dedicated page;

  3. For significant revisions, we will provide more prominent notifications (for certain services, we will notify via website announcements detailing the specific changes to the privacy policy);

  4. Significant changes include but are not limited to:

  5. Major changes in our service model, such as changes in the purpose of processing user information, types of user information processed, or methods of using user information;

  6. Significant changes in control or organizational structure, such as business adjustments, bankruptcy acquisitions leading to ownership changes;
  7. Changes in the primary entities sharing, transferring, or publicly disclosing user information;
  8. Significant changes in your rights and methods of participating in user information processing;
  9. Changes in departments responsible for handling user information security, contact methods, and complaint channels;
  10. High-risk findings in user information security impact assessments.
