Huawei Cloud Marketplace Subscription to Guance Commercial Plan


Subscribing to the Guance service on Huawei Cloud Marketplace mainly involves two steps: Purchasing Guance Service, Binding Partner Services. After successful subscription, log in to Guance using the link provided by Huawei Cloud.

Step 1: Purchase Cloud Services in the Marketplace

Log in to Huawei Cloud > Marketplace and navigate to the Guance SaaS Edition product page.

Click Subscribe Now. A prompt will appear asking you to agree to the terms before clicking Subscribe Now again.

A confirmation message stating SaaS Subscription Task Submitted Successfully will appear. Click Return to My Marketplace.

Check the purchased Guance service from the Purchased Services List on Huawei Cloud. Refresh the page if your purchase does not immediately appear.

Note: The Huawei Cloud account must be verified with real-name authentication to purchase Guance services.

Step 2: Bind Partner Services

After purchasing a partner SaaS product from the Huawei Cloud Marketplace, enter the Buyer Center.

  1. Click “Start Using” in the "Pending Tasks" pop-up window; or click “My Marketplace > Partner Services” in the left navigation bar to enter the Getting Started Guide page.
  2. Click “Use Now” to enter the partner service page.
  3. Select the role, it is recommended to choose “For Personal Use.”
  4. Click Confirm.

Create an Enterprise: Enter the enterprise name and domain;

Note:

  1. The enterprise name cannot be modified after creation.
  2. The enterprise abbreviation is a unique identifier for the organization. Once created, it cannot be changed. When users log in through the unified login page of the cloud marketplace, the marketplace identifies user information based on the user account and enterprise abbreviation.
  3. The initial enterprise creation process may take 1-3 minutes.

Add Members: Fill in employee names, departments, contact information, etc.;

Note:

  1. The "Account" and "Password" created here will be used to register or log in to the Guance Billing Center.
  2. On the first addition, Huawei Cloud will automatically fill in the account information (real-name verification information, phone number or email address, Huawei Cloud account name), which can be modified.
  3. Inform the enterprise members of the set account and password offline.

Authorize Members: Check the member list, check “Agree to Terms,” and click “Confirm Authorization.”

After authorization, provide the login URL, enterprise account name, and password to the employees who will use Guance products.

Log In to the Application

  1. Use the authorized enterprise employee account to log in via the unified login link provided by the cloud marketplace, entering the account and password added when associating the organization.
  2. Change the initial password upon first successful login.
  3. After changing the password successfully, you will be redirected to the Guance product page.

Step 3: Start Using Guance

If the current Huawei Cloud account is already bound to a Guance Billing Center account, click the link to log in directly.

If the Guance Billing Center account is not yet bound, you will be automatically redirected to the following page:

No Billing Center Account: You need to register a Guance account and a Billing Center account, then bind the cloud account for billing.

Have a Billing Center Account: You can directly bind the Billing Center account for cloud account billing.

What is a Billing Center Account?

A Billing Center account is an independent account within the Guance Billing Center platform used to manage Commercial Plan billing. It allows a single account to associate with multiple workspaces for unified billing management.

The overall process is as follows:

No Billing Center Account

If you do not have a Billing Center account, click Next to be automatically redirected to the registration page. Complete the registration process to obtain a Guance account and a Billing Center account.

  1. Fill in basic information;
  2. Fill in company information;
  3. Choose the opening method: Enter workspace name, select workspace language, input Huawei Cloud Account ID;
  4. Click Open to complete registration.

Already Have a Billing Center Account

If you already have a Billing Center account, click Next to directly enter the binding page:

Note: The site in the top-right corner of this page is irrelevant to the Billing Center binding process but affects the site selection when creating a workspace later, which cannot be changed afterward.

Bind Billing Center Account

Enter the username of the Billing Center account and verify via email to bind it.

Bind Existing Workspace

If there are existing workspaces under your Guance Billing Center account that can be bound, click Bind directly.

  1. Select the workspace to bind and click Bind;
  2. Click Confirm on the new page;
  3. The binding status will show as Bound.
Create a Workspace

If no workspace is associated with the current Billing Center account, you need to create one. Since Guance Console and Billing Center are separate platforms, confirm whether you have registered for Guance and own a Guance account.

If you have already registered for a Guance account and need to create a workspace, go to Create Workspace > Has Guance Account.

  1. Enter the workspace name;
  2. Select the workspace language;
  3. Input the email used during Guance account registration;
  4. Enter the verification code;
  5. Agree to the terms;
  6. Click Create, and the workspace will be created successfully.

After successful creation, you will return to the binding page showing Bound.

If you have never used Guance services before, register a Guance account first. Go to Create Workspace > No Guance Account.

  1. Enter the workspace name;
  2. Select the workspace language;
  3. Input the username;
  4. Input and confirm the login password;
  5. Input the email;
  6. Enter the verification code;
  7. Optionally fill in the phone number;
  8. Agree to the terms;
  9. Click Register and Create Workspace.

After successful workspace creation, you will return to the Bind Guance Workspace page showing Bound.

Step 3: Subscription Successful

After successfully binding the workspace, click Confirm. You will be redirected to the login page. Enter your username and password to access the workspace and start using Guance.

How to Obtain the Huawei Cloud Account ID

  1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud console;
  2. Click on the account avatar in the top-right corner;
  3. In the drop-down menu, click My Credentials;
  4. On the API credentials page, view the Account ID.

How to Obtain the Huawei Cloud Instance ID

In the Huawei Cloud Marketplace, go to My Marketplace > Purchased Services. Enter the product details page, and under Resource Details, view the Huawei Cloud Instance ID.
