Workspace Management


In the Guance Billing Center, one account can be bound to multiple Guance workspaces. In Manage Workspaces, you can view all workspaces bound under the account and modify the billing methods of the bound workspaces, including four types: Guance Billing Center account, AWS account, Alibaba Cloud account, and Huawei Cloud account.

Note: The billing method of a workspace can only be changed once a month.

Change Billing Method

In the Guance Billing Center Manage Workspaces, click Change Billing Method on the right to change the billing method for the current workspace.

Billing Center Account Billing

The Billing Center account is an independent account in the Guance Billing Center specifically used to manage billing related to the use of Guance products. One Billing Center account can be associated with billing for multiple workspaces.

Cloud Account Billing

Cloud account billing includes AWS Account Billing, Alibaba Cloud Account Billing, and Huawei Cloud Account Billing.

Arbitrary Selection of Billing Methods

By default, workspaces registered and logged in through the Alibaba Cloud site can only choose the Guance Billing Center account and Alibaba Cloud account billing methods. Workspaces registered and logged in through the AWS site can only choose the Guance Billing Center account and AWS account billing methods.

To arbitrarily change the billing method, you need to enable Arbitrary Selection of Billing Methods. Once enabled, all Guance user workspaces can arbitrarily choose the Guance Billing Center account, Alibaba Cloud account, AWS account, and Huawei Cloud account billing methods.

Note: Enabling Arbitrary Selection of Billing Methods requires contacting the Guance account manager to make changes in the Guance billing platform membership management.

Workspace Lock

Lock

Guance Commercial Plan workspaces settle fees by binding to a Guance Billing Center account or a cloud account.

If situations such as account arrears in the Billing Center or abnormal cloud market subscriptions occur, the workspace will be locked. Guance provides a grace period countdown of 14 days. After 14 days, the workspace will be completely locked, and new data will stop being reported.

  • During the 14-day countdown, you can continue to view and analyze historical data and unlock the workspace to continue using Guance;

  • After the 14-day countdown ends, a workspace lock notification will appear, and the workspace data will be cleared. If you still need to use Guance products, you can choose to switch workspaces or directly click Create Workspace below.

Workspace Lock Explanation
  • The Guance Billing Center account settles according to the bill cycle. After the bill is generated, you will receive an email notification of bill generation. If your account is in arrears, a 14-day settlement period will be provided. As the 14-day period nears its end, you will receive another countdown email notification. If the bill remains unpaid after 14 days, the relevant workspace will be locked.

Unlock

As mentioned above, on the workspace lock notification page, click Unlock Now to jump to the Workspace Management page in the Billing Center without logging in. You can change the billing method for the current workspace or click Billing Center in the upper left corner to go to the homepage and recharge the current account.

Different Unlock Scenarios
  • For enterprise-certified accounts, after recharging, the bill will be settled accordingly. After settlement, the relevant workspace will be unlocked.

  • For cloud account billing, in Workspace Management > Change Billing Method, you can rebind the cloud account, resubscribe to the relevant cloud account, or choose the Billing Center for settlement. After completing these operations, the relevant workspace will be automatically unlocked.

Dissolve

During the 14-day grace period countdown, you can manually delete the workspace by clicking Dissolve on the workspace lock notification page. When the workspace is dissolved, the Billing Center account is unbound simultaneously. Once deleted, the workspace cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution.
