Save Snapshot¶
Save Entry¶
Enter the page you want to save a snapshot of, adjust the time widget in the top right corner, and filter out the data you need to save. Then use the following methods to bring up the Save Snapshot window.
Start Saving¶
After successfully bringing up the Save Snapshot window, you can proceed to set related configurations for this snapshot.
- Define the snapshot name;
- Set visibility scope:
- Public: All users in the current workspace can view this snapshot;
- Private to self: Other users cannot view this snapshot.
- Automatically retrieve the selected time range on the current page; you can adjust the time range here.
View Snapshot¶
You can view saved snapshots from the following entries:
Workspace > Shortcut > Snapshot menu, where you can view all snapshots saved in the current workspace.
Enter Explorer > Snapshot, and the system will display the snapshots saved by this explorer. Snapshots are only visible in the explorer they were saved in. For example, snapshots saved in the Log Explorer cannot be viewed in the RUM Trace Explorer;
-
Hover over historical snapshots to display the time range and filtering conditions of the snapshot. Time ranges fall into three categories:
- Absolute time: Fixed time intervals.
- Relative time: Dynamic intervals based on the current time.
- Default: System default time settings.
Manage Snapshots¶
For already saved snapshots, you can perform the following operations:
- In the search bar, input the snapshot name to perform a fuzzy match by keyword;
- On the right side of the snapshot, you can choose the following actions:
- Share/Delete Snapshot: Manage the visibility of the snapshot or delete snapshots that are no longer needed.
- Copy Snapshot Link: Obtain a direct link to the snapshot for easy sharing or reference.
- Clicking the Snapshot Name opens the corresponding data copy and reproduces the data tags when the snapshot was saved.
- If the visibility scope is set to Private to self when saving the snapshot, a icon will appear after the snapshot name, and others will not be able to view this snapshot.
