Tencent Cloud Sub-account Cloud Billing

A Tencent Cloud sub-account refers to a sub-user or sub-account created and managed by the main account on the Tencent Cloud platform, used to achieve fine-grained access control and management of cloud resources. The main account can assign different permission policies to sub-accounts through Tencent Cloud's Access Management (CAM) system, allowing sub-accounts to access specific cloud resources or perform specific actions. Sub-accounts can be regular sub-users, WeCom sub-users, or collaborators of various types. Sub-account Billing Introduction

Use the script market series of "Guance Cloud Sync" script packages to synchronize cloud monitoring and cloud asset data to Guance.

Configuration

Install Func

It is recommended to enable Guance Integration - Extension - Managed Func: all prerequisites are automatically installed, please proceed with the script installation.

If you deploy Func manually, refer to Manual Func Deployment

Install Sub-account Cloud Billing Collection Script

Note: Please prepare a qualified Tencent Cloud AK in advance (for simplicity, you can directly grant global read-only permissions ReadOnlyAccess)

To synchronize sub-account billing monitoring data, we install the corresponding collection script: 「Guance Integration (Tencent Cloud - Sub-account Billing Collection - Instance Dimension)」(ID: guance_tencentcloud_subcust_billing_by_instance)

After clicking 【Install】, enter the corresponding parameters: Tencent Cloud AK, Tencent Cloud account name.

Click 【Deploy Startup Script】, and the system will automatically create a Startup script set and automatically configure the corresponding startup script.

After enabling, you can see the corresponding automatic trigger configuration under "Management / Automatic Trigger Configuration". Click 【Execute】 to immediately execute it once without waiting for the scheduled time. After a short wait, you can check the execution task records and corresponding logs.

If you need to collect corresponding logs, you also need to enable the log collection script. If you need to collect billing, you need to enable the cloud billing collection script.

We have collected some configurations by default, details are in the metrics section Customize Cloud Object Metrics

Verification

In Guance, check under the menu "Cloud Billing" whether there is corresponding cloud billing data.
