Activating Guance Commercial Plan on Microsoft Cloud Marketplace


This article will guide you through the process of subscribing to Guance services on Microsoft Cloud Marketplace, activating the Guance Commercial Plan, and using your Microsoft account for billing.

Note: Billing via a Microsoft Cloud account only supports US dollars.

Subscribing to Guance

  1. Log in and visit the Guance product page on Microsoft Cloud Marketplace;
  2. Click Get It Now;
  3. In the pop-up window, check the agreement and click Continue;
  4. You will be redirected to the subscription page by default; select a subscription resource group;
  5. Confirm your subscription information on the new page, define a name, choose a billing period, and whether to renew;
  6. Click Review + Subscribe at the bottom left;
  7. After confirming that the information is correct, click Subscribe;
  8. Subscription successful.

Activating Guance Commercial Plan

After clicking, you will be automatically redirected to the Guance activation page. If your current Microsoft Cloud account is not linked to a Guance Billing Center account, two scenarios may occur:

No Billing Center Account: You need to register for a Guance account and a Billing Center account, then bind the cloud account for billing;

Has Billing Center Account: You can directly bind the Billing Center account to enable cloud account billing.

What is a Billing Center account?

A Billing Center account is an independent account within the Guance Billing Center platform used to manage Commercial Plan billing. It allows a single account to associate with multiple workspaces for unified billing management.

The overall process is as follows:

No Billing Center Account

If you do not have a Billing Center account yet, click next to be automatically redirected to the registration page. Complete the registration process to obtain both a Guance account and a Billing Center account.

  1. Fill in basic information;
  2. Provide company information;
  3. Choose the activation method: enter a workspace name, select the workspace language, and click Activate to complete registration.

Has Billing Center Account

If you already have a Billing Center account, click next to go directly to the binding page:

Note: The site selection in the top-right corner of this page is unrelated to the Billing Center binding process. It only affects the site selection when creating a workspace later, and cannot be changed after creation.

Binding Billing Center Account

Enter the username of the Billing Center account and verify via email to bind it;

Creating a Workspace

If there are no associated workspaces under your current Billing Center account, click to create a workspace first.

Since Guance Console and the Billing Center are two separate platforms, confirm whether you have registered for Guance and own a Guance account.

Have Guance Account

  1. Enter the workspace name;
  2. Select the workspace language;
  3. Enter the email;
  4. Enter the verification code;
  5. Agree to the terms;
  6. Click Create, and the workspace will be created successfully.

No Guance Account

  1. Enter the workspace name;
  2. Select the workspace language;
  3. Enter the username;
  4. Enter and confirm the login password;
  5. Enter the email;
  6. Enter the verification code;
  7. Optionally fill in the phone number;
  8. Agree to the terms;
  9. Click Register and Create Workspace.

Binding Existing Workspace

If you have workspaces available for binding under your Guance Billing Center account, simply click Bind.

  1. Select the workspace you want to bind and click bind;
  2. On the new page, click confirm;
  3. The system will display that it has been bound.

Start Using Guance

After successfully binding the workspace, click confirm, and you will be redirected to the login page. Enter your username and password to access the workspace and start using Guance.
