Data Collection¶

Guance supports reporting the processes and results of built-in CI from Gitlab/Jenkins to Guance for visualization. You can install DataKit, enable the Gitlab/Jenkins collector, and report the results generated during the entire CI process (such as Build, Test, Deploy) to DataKit. After processing by the DataWay data gateway, the data is reported to Guance for viewing and analysis.

Prerequisites¶

Install DataKit.

Data Collection¶

After DataKit is installed, you can enable the Gitlab / Jenkins collector in the DataKit installation directory. Restart DataKit to obtain CI-related data.
