Event Association¶
By adding filter fields to match related incidents, the display of time series data and incidents is associated. This helps users perceive relevant incidents during data fluctuations while viewing data trends, providing another perspective to locate issues.
Note
This feature currently only supports time series charts and histograms.
Example Scenario¶
Query statement:
Query the latest value of the load5_per_core metric for each host over the most recent period (determined by the parameter after AS, here 5 minutes). The query results are grouped by host (host).
At this point, the filter condition added for event association is df_is_silent (whether the incident is muted) is false, meaning only non-muted incidents are returned.
On the timeline, areas with incident records are marked with shaded color blocks. Click to view related incidents.
