Alibaba Cloud Account Billing¶

This allows direct recharge and billing through an Alibaba Cloud account. One Alibaba Cloud account can be associated with multiple workspaces and multiple sites for billing purposes.

First Purchase of Guance Commercial Plan¶

1. Enter the registration process;
2. In the third step, when selecting the activation method, choose Activate via Alibaba Cloud Market;
3. Enter the workspace name and select the workspace language;
4. Fill in the account ID and product instance ID;
5. Agree to the terms and conditions;
6. Click Activate.

At this step, the system will simultaneously create a Billing Center account for you. Subsequently, you can log in to the Billing Center platform using the account credentials used during registration (i.e., the username/password used in the first step of registering the Guance account) to view billing details and other information.

Activate via Alibaba Cloud Market¶

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud Market and click Activate Now.

A prompt will appear for Activate Pay-as-you-go Service, agree to the terms, and click Activate.

A message will display Activation Request Submitted.

Click Confirm to be redirected to the Alibaba Cloud Market page, where you can view the subscribed Guance instance.

Click Activate Now.

Change Billing in the Billing Center Platform¶

1. Log in to the Guance Billing Center;
2. Enter Workspace Management;
3. Select the workspace and click the Change button on the right;
4. Choose Alibaba Cloud Account Billing;
5. First, Go to Alibaba Cloud to activate Guance service;
6. After purchase, obtain the Account ID and Product Instance ID;
7. Click Confirm.

How to Obtain Account ID¶

Alibaba Cloud Master Account¶

Log in to Alibaba Cloud using the master account, enter the Alibaba Cloud console, click the account avatar in the upper right corner, and you will find the account ID.

How to Obtain Product Instance ID¶

After Guance confirms the activation request on Alibaba Cloud Market, you will be redirected to the list of purchased services on Alibaba Cloud. Under the purchased Guance service, you can view the Instance ID. Copy this Instance ID and fill it into the Product Instance ID field in the Change Billing Method dialog.

Cancel Subscription of Guance on Alibaba Cloud¶

1. In the Alibaba Cloud console, click Cloud Market > Purchased Services;
2. Under Purchased Services, you can view the subscribed Guance instance. Click Close in the upper right corner of the instance;
3. In the Service Closure dialog, click Confirm. After that, the instance status will change to Closed, indicating that the subscription to Guance has been canceled on Alibaba Cloud.

Note: After canceling the subscription to Guance service, the Guance Billing Center will disassociate all workspaces linked to this account and switch to the billing method using the Guance Billing Center account. You will also receive an email notification regarding this change.
