Alibaba Cloud Marketplace Activation of Guance Commercial Plan¶
This article introduces how to log in to Guance after purchasing the Commercial Plan product on Alibaba Cloud by redirecting from Alibaba Cloud to the Guance login page.
1. Purchase Guance¶

Log in to Alibaba Cloud Marketplace Guance and click Activate Now;

A prompt for Activating Pay-As-You-Go Service will appear. Agree to the terms and click Activate;

A message will display Activation Request Submitted;

Click Confirm to redirect to the Marketplace page, where you can view the activated Guance instance.
2. Start Using Guance¶

In Marketplace > Purchased Services, you can view the activated service instance. Click Direct Login on the right side of the instance to go directly to Guance.

On the Guance side, if the current Alibaba Cloud account ID is not bound to a Guance Billing Center account, two scenarios may occur:

No Billing Center Account: You need to register a Guance account and a Billing Center account, then bind the cloud account for billing;

Existing Billing Center Account: You can directly bind the Billing Center account to enable cloud account billing.

What is a Billing Center Account?
The Billing Center account is an independent account within the Guance Billing Center platform used to manage Commercial Plan billing. It allows a single account to associate multiple workspaces for unified billing management.
The overall process is as follows:
No Billing Center Account¶
If you do not have a Billing Center account, click Next to automatically redirect to the registration page. After completing the registration process, you will obtain a Guance account and a Billing Center account.

Fill in basic information;

Fill in company information;

Select activation method: Enter the workspace name, choose the workspace language, and input Account ID and Product Instance ID;

Click Activate to complete registration.
Existing Billing Center Account¶
If you already have a Billing Center account, click Next to directly enter the binding page:
Note
The site in the upper right corner of this page is unrelated to the Billing Center binding process. It only affects the site when creating a workspace later, and the site cannot be changed after creation.
Bind Billing Center Account¶
Enter the username of the Billing Center account and bind it via email verification.
Bind Workspace¶
Create Workspace¶
If no workspace is associated under the current Billing Center account, you need to create a workspace first. Since Guance console and Billing Center are two independent platforms, you need to confirm whether you have registered Guance and have a Guance account.
If you have already registered a Guance account and still need to create a workspace, go to Create Workspace > Have Guance Account.

Enter the workspace name;

Choose the workspace language;

Enter the email used to register the Guance account;

Enter the verification code;
-
Agree to the terms;
-
Click Create, and the workspace will be successfully created.

After the workspace is created, you will automatically return to the binding page, showing Bound.
If you have not used Guance services before, please register a Guance account first. Go to Create Workspace > No Guance Account.

Enter the workspace name;

Choose the workspace language;

Enter the username;
-
Enter and confirm the login password;

Enter the email;
-
Enter the verification code;

Optionally enter the phone number;
-
Agree to the terms;
-
Click Register and Create Workspace;

After the workspace is created, you will automatically return to the Bind Guance Workspace page, showing Bound.
Bind Existing Workspace¶
If there is a bindable workspace under the Guance Billing Center account, directly click Bind.

Select the workspace to bind and click Bind;

Click Confirm on the new page;

It will now show Bound.
3. Successful Activation¶
After successfully binding the workspace, click Confirm to redirect to the login page. Enter the username and password to access the workspace and start using Guance.
FAQs¶
How to Get Alibaba Cloud Master Account¶
Log in to Alibaba Cloud with the master account, enter the Alibaba Cloud console, and click the account avatar in the upper right corner to find the account ID.
How to Get Product Instance ID¶
After Guance confirms the activation request on Alibaba Cloud Xinsuan, you will be redirected to the Alibaba Cloud purchased services list. Under the purchased Guance service, you can view the Instance ID. Copy this Instance ID and enter it into the Product Instance ID field in the Change Billing Method dialog.
