AWS Cloud Marketplace Subscription Guance Commercial Plan¶
This article will explain how to activate the Guance Commercial Plan and use your AWS account for billing after subscribing to Guance services on the AWS Cloud Marketplace.
Step One: Subscribe to Guance¶
Log in and access the AWS Cloud Marketplace Guance product page, then click Continue Subscription.
After successful subscription, click Set Up Your Account.
Step Two: Activate Guance Commercial Plan¶
Clicking this will automatically redirect you to the Guance activation page. If your current AWS account is not linked to a Guance Billing Center account, there are two scenarios:
No Billing Center Account: You need to register for a Guance account and Billing Center account, then implement cloud account binding for billing;
Billing Center Account Exists: You can directly bind the Billing Center account to enable cloud account billing.
What is a Billing Center Account?
A Billing Center account is an independent account within the Guance Billing Center platform used to manage Commercial Plan billing. It allows a single account to be associated with multiple workspaces for unified billing processing.
The overall process reference is as follows:
No Billing Center Account¶
If you do not yet have a Billing Center account, click Next to automatically redirect to the registration page. After completing the registration process, you will obtain a Guance account and Billing Center account.
- Fill in basic information;
- Enter company information;
- Choose activation method: input workspace name, select workspace language;
- Click Activate to complete registration.
Existing Billing Center Account¶
If you already have a Billing Center account, click Next to go directly to the binding page:
Note: The site in the top right corner of this page is unrelated to the Billing Center binding process; it only affects the site when creating a workspace later, and cannot be changed afterward.
Bind Billing Center Account¶
Enter the username for the Billing Center account and verify via email to bind;
Bind Workspace¶
Create Workspace¶
If no workspace is currently associated with your Billing Center account, you need to create one first. Since Guance Console and the Billing Center are two separate platforms, at this point, you need to confirm whether you have registered a Guance account and own a Guance account.
If you have already registered a Guance account and still need to create a workspace, enter Create Workspace > Have Guance Account.
- Input workspace name;
- Select workspace language;
- Enter the email used during Guance account registration;
- Enter verification code;
- Agree to terms;
- Click Create to successfully create the workspace.
After successfully creating the workspace, you will automatically return to the binding page, showing Bound.
If you have not previously used Guance services, please first register a Guance account. Enter Create Workspace > Do Not Have Guance Account.
- Input workspace name;
- Select workspace language;
- Input username;
- Input and reconfirm login password;
- Input email;
- Enter verification code;
- Optionally fill in phone number;
- Agree to terms;
- Click Register and Create Workspace.
Click Register Guance Account, input relevant information, and verify via email to register.
Bind Existing Workspace¶
If you have a bindable workspace under this Guance Billing Center account, simply click Bind.
- Select the workspace to bind, then click Bind;
- On the new page, click Confirm;
- It will now show as bound.
Step Three: Activation Successful¶
After successfully binding the workspace, click Confirm to redirect to the login page. Enter your username and password to access the workspace and start using Guance.
