Topology¶
Go to Infrastructure > Network > Topology to view the distribution of upstream and downstream network connections. Taking hosts as an example, it supports visualizing the network traffic between hosts in the current workspace, enabling quick analysis of TCP latency, jitter, retransmission count, connection establishment count, and connection closure count.
Manage Topology¶
You can manage the network topology through the following operations:
-
Time Widget: By default, data from the last 48 hours is fetched, requiring manual refresh;
-
Search and Filter: You can quickly perform fuzzy matching searches for host names based on keywords; or display host nodes and their associations based on filtered Tag labels;
-
Fill: You can customize the fill of host nodes, selecting various TCP metrics as the basis for filling;
-
Host Nodes:
- Icons distinguish between regular hosts and cloud hosts
- The edge color of a node reflects the value of the fill field
- Bidirectional curved lines indicate the direction of traffic between hosts
- The size of nodes and the thickness of lines reflect the volume of traffic data
-
Custom Range: When enabled, you can define custom color ranges for the fill metric; connections and nodes outside the range will be grayed out;
Note
If the target host is not in the current workspace, but the target domain name exists and the port is less than 10,000, the domain name will be displayed in the topology diagram.
Correlation Analysis¶
Click on a node to choose to view its upstream and downstream associations, or jump to related details, logs, traces, and events pages for more information.
Click the back button in the upper left corner to return to the Network Map. Use search or filtering to display matching upstream and downstream nodes.
