Self-built Nodes Management¶
In addition to the 14 built-in nodes in the Guance system, you can also create new testing nodes globally. By building nodes based on different geographic locations and operators, you can monitor site availability from multiple regions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of site availability.
Create a Node¶
Go to Synthetic Tests > Self-built Nodes Management, and click Create.
- Select the country/region and province or city.
- Choose the operator.
- The node code will be automatically filled in. Node codes cannot be duplicated within the current workspace.
- Enter the node name. Node names cannot be duplicated within the current workspace.
- Click Confirm.
Manage Nodes¶
In the node list, you can view and manage all self-built nodes in the current workspace through the following operations:
- Click "Get Configuration" to directly copy the configuration information in the pop-up window.
- Click "Operation Audit" to view the operation records related to the node.
- Click "Delete" to delete the current node. If a self-built node is associated with a testing task, after deletion, this node will no longer report data in the task, but the data already reported will not be affected.
Install Nodes¶
After creating a node, you need to complete the installation in DataKit to start using the node.
- After creating a self-built node, you need to obtain the configuration information of the specified node through Self-built Nodes Management > Get Configuration.
- Complete the installation of the testing node in DataKit Installation, and ensure that the server where the testing node is deployed can detect the target node (country, region, operator).
