Share Snapshot

In the Snapshot List, click on the right side of the target snapshot to perform the sharing operation for that snapshot.

Basic Configuration

Time Range

When saving a snapshot, the selected time range is recorded. You can decide whether the recipient is allowed to change the time interval on the snapshot page.

Validity Period

Four options are provided:

  • 1 day (default)
  • 3 days
  • 7 days
  • Permanent
Note

If you select "Permanent", there may be data security risks. Please consider carefully.

Sharing Method

Two snapshot sharing methods are supported:

After sharing, corresponding links will be generated. You can share these links with "anyone," or through encryption to those who have the key.

Explanation of Data Time Segment in Shared Snapshot Links
  • If Absolute Time is enabled when saving the snapshot, the shared link will display the absolute time at which the snapshot was saved.

For example: If you choose to save a snapshot of the last 15 minutes of data at 13:30, and then open the snapshot link at 14:00, it will show data from 13:15 ~ 13:30.

  • If Absolute Time is disabled when saving the snapshot, the shared link will display relative time based on when the snapshot was opened.

For example: If you choose to save a snapshot of the last 15 minutes of data at 13:30, and then open the snapshot link at 14:00, it will show data from 13:45 ~ 14:00.

Dashboard and Snapshot Permission Intersections
  • Dashboard permissions determine the initial visibility scope of snapshots. The sharing method chosen when saving the snapshot only affects the viewing permissions within the current workspace, not the post-sharing permissions.
  • Post-sharing snapshot permissions are primarily determined by dashboard permissions:
    • Public or customized dashboards: Snapshots shared afterward default to public.
    • Dashboards visible only to oneself: Snapshots shared afterward remain visible only to oneself.
  • Special cases:
    • The "Visible only to oneself" permission of dashboards takes precedence. However, if a dashboard's visibility is set to "public," snapshots shared afterward will still become public;
    • If the visibility scope of the dashboard changes later, the shared snapshots will update accordingly.

For more details, refer to Dashboard Visibility Configuration.

Public Sharing

Users who receive the sharing link can view the workspace data displayed in the snapshot.

Encrypted Sharing

Set a sharing code in the format of 4-8 digits and English letters combination. Only users who obtain both the sharing link and the sharing code can view the snapshot data.

More Options

  1. Show Top Bar: When enabled, the top of the shared page will display a platform introduction note.
  2. Show Watermark: When enabled, the watermark displaying the sharer’s name in the format “Sharer: Name” will appear.

Data Desensitization

You can configure desensitization for field values within the snapshot. Input desensitization fields and regular expressions, click preview, and content matched by the regex will be displayed as * in the current snapshot.

  • Input desensitization fields (supports multiple selections);
  • Regular Expression: Achieve desensitization through regex syntax.

For more operations, refer to Sensitive Data Desensitization.

Access Restrictions

Enable IP whitelist to add extra protection to snapshot sharing.

  • Workspace IP Whitelist: Follows changes in the IP whitelist configuration of the workspace; cannot be edited or modified under snapshot sharing;
  • Custom Input: Allows custom input of IP access whitelist; IPs not listed cannot view the snapshot.

For more details, refer to How to Configure IP Whitelist.

Preview Snapshot

After completing all configurations, you can click "Preview Snapshot" to check the effect.

Note

This preview is exactly the same as the actual process of sharing snapshots in your environment. For instance, if IP whitelist restrictions were set in the previous Configuration Step, IPs outside the whitelist will also be unable to view the preview of the snapshot.

Manage Sharing

Members with permissions to save, analyze, and manage snapshots can enter the snapshot sharing management page via the following methods to view snapshots, check sharing links, cancel sharing, etc.:

For more details, please refer to Sharing Management.

Manage

Enter the Manage > Share Management > Share Snapshot module:

Snapshot Sharing Window

When sharing snapshots, click "View Share List" in the upper-right corner to navigate to the Share Snapshot management module.
