Upgrade to Commercial Plan¶
The Guance Free Plan provides a simple yet fully functional local deployment platform for teachers, students, cloud computing enthusiasts, and other community users. You can apply and download it for free to set up your own Guance platform and experience the complete product features.
The Guance Free Plan supports upgrading to the Commercial Plan, which is divided into the Subscription Plan, License Plan, and Pay-as-you-go Plan.
Upgrade to Pay-as-you-go Plan¶
After upgrading from the Guance Free Plan to the Commercial Pay-as-you-go Plan, you will be charged based on the number of DK installations. DK (DataKit) is the real-time data collector of Guance, which needs to be deployed in your own IT environment for data collection. Each DK costs 5 RMB/day, and if the number of DKs reporting data is less than 20, you will be charged for 20 DKs.
Choose Upgrade Version¶
In the Guance Billing Center, click "Upgrade to Commercial Plan," select "Commercial Plan - Pay-as-you-go Plan" under "Version Upgrade," and click "Upgrade Now."
Agree to Upgrade Agreement¶
Carefully review the Guance Commercial Deployment Service Agreement.
At the end of the agreement, click "Agree and Accept," and then click "OK" in the pop-up dialog. Note: Once the agreement is accepted, it indicates that you have understood and agreed to its contents.
Choose Payment Method¶
After agreeing to the upgrade agreement and completing the upgrade to the "Commercial Plan - Pay-as-you-go Plan," you need to select a pay-as-you-go settlement method. Currently, Guance supports three settlement methods:
- Guance Enterprise Account: Directly recharge and settle through the Guance Billing Center account;
- Alibaba Cloud Account: Directly recharge and settle through the Alibaba Cloud account;
- Amazon Web Services Account: Directly recharge and settle through the AWS account.
Select the "Guance Enterprise Account Settlement" method. Click "OK."
Generate License¶
After selecting the settlement method, return to the Guance Billing Center, go to Manage License > Create License. After the License is created, click "Copy" to copy the License to the clipboard.
Note: Before upgrading to the paid version, the maximum number of DKs is fixed at 50. After upgrading, the maximum DataKit limit can be increased.
Activate Commercial Plan¶
Open the Guance Launcher, click on the settings in the upper right corner, and then click "License Activation and AK/SK Configuration."
In the "Guance Activation" dialog of the Guance Launcher, update the License to activate the Commercial Plan.
Note:
