Forward Data to Volcengine TOS¶
Configuration¶
- Select Volcengine TOS as the archive type, which means saving the matched data to this object storage.
- Choose the Storage Type and Access Type.
- Click Confirm to complete the creation.
Note
If the archive type information changes, ensure that the associated platform configurations are updated accordingly to avoid data write failures due to configuration changes. New configuration rules will take effect within 5 minutes.
Storage Type¶
Storage Type |
Use Cases |
|---|---|
| Standard Storage | High availability, reliability, and performance storage type, suitable for frequently accessed data |
| Infrequent Access Storage | Suitable for infrequently accessed data, minimum storage duration of 30 days |
| Archive Flashback Storage | Suitable for data that is rarely accessed, minimum storage duration of 90 days; supports direct read (flashback) and direct conversion to other storage types without additional recovery or thawing |
| Archive Storage | Suitable for scenarios where data is rarely accessed and needs long-term storage, minimum storage duration of 90 days; data recovery is required before accessing archive storage data |
| Cold Archive Storage | Cold data type, suitable for scenarios where data is very rarely accessed and needs long-term storage. Minimum storage duration of 180 days; data recovery is required before accessing cold archive data |
Access Type¶
Role Authorization¶
-
After configuring the authorization policy in the Volcengine console, fill in the archive information, including the Volcengine account ID, TOS role name, region, and bucket name.
-
Enter the Storage Path to facilitate further differentiation and locating of the data forwarding.

Click Test Connection. If the above information meets the specifications, a successful connection test will be prompted. Click confirm to save the current rule.
If the test fails:
You need to confirm:
- Whether the authorization is successful
- Whether the account ID is correct

-
After configuration, select the region and input the bucket name.
-
Enter the Storage Path to facilitate further differentiation and locating of the data forwarding.
-
Click Test Connection. If the above information meets the specifications, a successful connection test will be prompted. Click confirm to save the current rule.
If the test fails:
You need to confirm:
- Whether the account ID is correct

Folder Naming Conventions¶
- Create a single folder or multi-level folders, where a slash (/) indicates the creation of multi-level folders.
- Folder names cannot start or end with a slash (/).
- Cannot contain more than two consecutive slashes (/).
- Applies to all access types.
Note
- If the specified folder does not exist, the system will create it directly, and data will still be stored in that path
- Please be cautious when changing the storage path, as there is a delay of about 5 minutes for configuration updates, and some data may still be forwarded to the original directory after the change
