Share Snapshots

In the Snapshot List, click the icon on the right side of the target snapshot to share it.

Basic Configuration

Time Range

The selected time range is recorded when a snapshot is saved. You can decide whether the viewer is allowed to change the time interval on the snapshot page.

Validity Period

Four options are provided:

  • 1 day (default)

  • 3 days

  • 7 days

  • Permanent (❗️ If "Permanent" is selected, there may be data security risks. Please consider carefully.)

Sharing Method

Two snapshot sharing methods are supported:

After sharing, a corresponding link will be generated. You can share this link with "anyone", or share it via encryption with someone who has the key.

Data Time Range Explanation for Shared Snapshot Links
  • If absolute time is enabled when saving the snapshot, the absolute time when the snapshot was saved will be displayed after sharing.

For example: If a snapshot of the last 15 minutes of data is saved at 13:30, then opening the snapshot link at 14:00 will display data from 13:15 ~ 13:30.

  • If absolute time is disabled when saving the snapshot, the relative time when the snapshot was saved will be displayed after sharing.

For example: If a snapshot of the last 15 minutes of data is saved at 13:30, then opening the snapshot link at 14:00 will display data from 13:45 ~ 14:00.

Permission Intersection Explanation for Dashboards and Snapshots
  • Dashboard permissions determine the initial visibility scope of a snapshot, while the sharing method selected when saving the snapshot only affects the viewing permissions within the current workspace and does not affect the permissions after sharing.

  • The permissions of the shared snapshot are mainly determined by the dashboard permissions:

    • Public or custom dashboards: The shared snapshot is public by default.

    • Dashboards visible only to you: The shared snapshot remains visible only to you.

  • Special cases:

    • The "visible only to me" permission of the dashboard takes precedence, but dashboards with a "public" visible scope will become public after the snapshot is shared.

    • If the visible scope of the dashboard changes later, the shared snapshot will be updated accordingly.

For more details, please refer to Dashboard Visible Range Configuration.

Public Share

Users who obtain the share link can view the workspace data displayed in the snapshot.

Encrypted Share

Set a share code in the form of a 4-8 digit combination of numbers and letters. Only users who obtain both the share link and the share code can view the snapshot.

More Options

  1. Show Top Bar: When enabled, a platform introduction will be displayed at the top of the shared page.

  2. Show Watermark: When enabled, a watermark showing the sharer's name will be displayed, formatted as "Shared by: Name".

Data Masking

You can configure the masking of field value content within the snapshot. Enter the fields to be masked and the regular expression, then click Preview. Content matched by the regular expression will be displayed as * in the current snapshot.

  • Enter the fields to be masked (multiple selections supported).

  • Regular Expression: Use regex syntax to implement masking.

For more operations, please refer to Sensitive Data Masking.

Access Restrictions

Enabling the IP whitelist provides additional protection for snapshot sharing.

  • Workspace IP Whitelist: Follows the configuration changes of the workspace's IP whitelist and cannot be edited directly within snapshot sharing.

  • Custom Input: You can manually input a custom IP access whitelist. IPs not listed will be unable to view the snapshot.

For more details, please refer to How to Configure IP Whitelist.

Preview Snapshot

After completing all configurations, you can click "Preview Snapshot" to see the effect.

Note

The preview here is completely identical to the real environment for sharing snapshots. For example, if you set IP whitelist access restrictions in the previous configuration step, IPs not on the whitelist will also be unable to view the preview snapshot.

View Shared Snapshots

Members with permissions to save, analyze, and manage snapshots can access the Shared Snapshot Management page through the following methods to perform operations such as viewing snapshots, viewing share links, and canceling shares:

  • Manage > Share Management > Share Snapshots entry

  • Snapshot Share Window: When sharing a snapshot, click "View Share List" in the upper right corner to jump to the Share Snapshots management module.
