AWS Cloud Account Authorization¶

AWS account types support two authentication methods.

Based on Access Keys¶

1. Select the China region or international region as needed;
2. Enter the AWS main account ID;
3. Input the Access Key and Secret Key from AWS;
4. Fill in the account alias; it will be used for display in Guance, and subsequently this tag will be automatically added to the data collected by this account;
5. Click the Test button; you can only create successfully after passing the test.

Based on Role Authorization¶

1. Select region: choose the China region or overseas region as needed;
2. Enter the AWS main account ID;
3. Input the Access Key and Secret Key from AWS;
4. Fill in the role name under this account;
5. Input the account alias; it will be used for display in Guance, and subsequently this tag will be automatically added to the data collected by this account;
6. Click save. You can also click the Test button to validate the current cloud account information.
