Cloud Account Management

During operations, enterprises often need to use multiple cloud service accounts to meet different business needs. However, when these cloud services fail, decentralized management can lead to inefficiency and increase operational costs.

The "Cloud Account Management" feature centralizes all enterprise cloud service accounts for unified management and distinguishes them by the uniqueness of certain configurations under each account. By configuring integrated collectors, you can independently manage the cloud services under each account, achieving fine-grained control over business data.

This management approach not only simplifies the cloud service management process but also helps quickly locate and resolve service faults, thereby significantly reducing management costs and improving fault response speed.

Note

This feature is only available to Workspace Owners and Managers for configuration.

Add Authorization

The following cloud account types are currently supported for authorization.

Alibaba Cloud

Huawei Cloud

Tencent Cloud

Volcengine

AWS

Azure

Google Cloud

Manage Authorizations

All successfully created cloud accounts are displayed on the Integrations > Cloud Account Management page. You can perform the following operations:

  • Filter quickly by Type in the upper right corner;
  • Search directly by entering the cloud account alias in the search bar;
  • Delete using the settings button;
  • Click on an account to enter its details and edit again.

Configure Integrations

After a cloud account is created, authorization to Guance is completed. You can install integrations as needed under that account to start data collection.

Prerequisites

DataFlux Func (Automata) has been activated.

Note

Different integrations require different resources for authorization. Please grant the corresponding permissions to the cloud account according to the Integration documentation. Otherwise, the integration may be installed successfully, but data collection may fail.

Configure in Cloud Account Information

Click to enter the cloud account details page > Integrations, and you can view all related integrations under the current account.

Click Install on the right to enter the automatic installation page:

  1. The cloud account is automatically filled in;
  2. Select the applicable region type as needed;
  3. The system automatically identifies the metrics included in the current integration script; you can add or remove as needed;
  4. Filters currently support = and in operations;
  5. After successful installation, proceed with the script installation.

Configure Directly from Integrations

Prerequisites
  • DataFlux Func (Automata) has been activated;
  • Cloud account authorization has been configured in management.

  1. Go to Integrations to install directly. On the single integration installation page, you can configure multiple cloud accounts;
  2. Click to add a cloud account;
  3. You can select other cloud accounts to configure, and configure regions, metrics, and filters;
  4. Click Install, and the cloud account configuration will be overwritten with the latest configuration.

Delete/Uninstall Integrations

  • On the cloud account management list page, click the settings icon to delete the cloud account. After deletion, data collection for all configured integrations under that cloud account will stop, but collected data will not be affected;

  • In the Integrations tab of the cloud account details page, click the Uninstall button to stop collecting data for a specific integration, without affecting collected data;

  • After clicking Uninstall from the Integrations side, all AWS cloud accounts will stop collecting data for that integration. If you only need to stop data collection for a specific cloud account, you can do so in the cloud account configuration.
