Huawei Cloud Account Settlement¶

This lets you top up and settle charges directly through your Huawei Cloud account. One Huawei Cloud account can be linked to multiple workspaces for settlement, including workspaces across multiple sites.

Selecting During Initial Registration for the Guance Commercial Plan¶

1. Go to the registration process;
2. In Step 3, when selecting the activation method, choose Huawei Cloud Marketplace activation;
3. Enter the workspace name and select the workspace language;
4. Enter the Account ID;
5. Check the box to agree to the terms;
6. Click Activate.

In this step, the system also creates a Billing Center account for you. Afterwards, you can sign in to the Billing Center platform using the account and password used during registration (that is, the username/password entered in Step 1 when you registered your Guance account) to view billing details and other information.

Activating via Huawei Cloud Marketplace¶

Sign in to the product purchase page for Huawei Cloud Marketplace > Guance SaaS Edition.

Click Activate Now. A Purchase Guance SaaS Edition dialog appears. After agreeing to the terms, click Activate Now.

The SaaS activation submitted successfully message appears. Click Return to My Cloud Marketplace.

Return to Purchased Services in Huawei Cloud to check the purchased Guance service. If the purchased item is not listed yet, refresh the page.

Changing Settlement in the Billing Center¶

1. Sign in to the Guance Billing Center;
2. Go to Workspace Management;
3. Select the workspace and click the Change button on the right;
4. Select Huawei Cloud Account Settlement;
5. First, go to Huawei Cloud to activate the Guance service;
6. After completing the purchase, obtain the Huawei Cloud Account ID and Product Instance ID;
7. Click OK.

Unsubscribing from Guance in Huawei Cloud¶

1. Sign in to Huawei Cloud Marketplace > Purchased Services;
2. Click More > Close Resource on the right side of the resource;
3. Click Close Resource again;
4. Refresh the current page. The resource should now show Closed, which means you have unsubscribed from Guance in Huawei Cloud.

Note: After canceling your Guance subscription in Huawei Cloud, all workspaces bound to this account for settlement in the Guance Billing Center will have the associated cloud account removed and the corresponding workspaces locked. You can unlock the workspaces. After a workspace is unlocked, settlement defaults to the Guance Billing Center account.

How to Obtain the Huawei Cloud Account ID¶

1. Sign in to the Huawei Cloud console with your account;
2. Click the account avatar in the upper-right corner;
3. Click My Credentials in the drop-down list;
4. On the API Credentials page, you can view the Account ID.

How to Obtain the Huawei Cloud Instance ID¶

In Huawei Cloud Marketplace, go to My Cloud Marketplace > Purchased Services. Open the product details page and look under Application Information for the current service to view the Huawei Cloud instance ID.
