Global Tags

Global Tags are a unified tag management system within the workspace. They can be directly invoked in scenarios such as dashboards, explorers, monitors, and host details to achieve cross-module data categorization and linkage filtering.

Note

Only Owner, Administrator, and custom roles can view this feature.

Create

  1. Name: Required. The name must be unique and cannot be duplicated. It can be in any text format.

  2. Description: Optional. The length must be within 100 characters.

  3. Color: The first color block is the default color. You can customize and select a color.

  4. Continue creating the next one: Continue creating tags. The pop-up window will not close after clicking "Confirm".

Note

If you check this button, it will remain checked during the tag creation process. This state will only be canceled if you manually uncheck it or close the pop-up window.

Manage

After tags are created, you can view them on the Manage > Global Tags list page. You can manage the list through the following operations:

  • Search for and locate tags quickly by entering the tag name in the search box.
  • Edit: Update the name and description of an existing tag.
  • Delete the current tag.
  • Perform batch operations to delete multiple selected tags.

Use Cases

1. On the Modify Dashboard or Explorer page

Open the custom tag dropdown box to search for or add global tags:

If you do not have permission to create tags, only tag search is supported here.

2. Tag Filtering

You can view all tags associated with the dashboards on the current page.


On the Host Details page > Basic Information > Tags, click the dropdown box:


Enter the Create page for monitor or testing rules to search for or add global tags:
