AWS Cloud Account Authorization¶

AWS account types support two authentication methods.

Using Access Keys¶

1. Select China region or International region as needed.
2. Enter the AWS master account ID.
3. Enter the Access Key and Secret Key from AWS.
4. Enter an account alias; it will be displayed in Guance, and data collected by this account will be automatically tagged with this alias.
5. Click the Test button. The account can be created only after the test passes.

Using Role-Based Authorization¶

1. Select a region: choose China region or International region as needed.
2. Enter the AWS master account ID.
3. Enter the Access Key and Secret Key from AWS.
4. Enter the role name under this account.
5. Enter an account alias; it will be displayed in Guance, and data collected by this account will be automatically tagged with this alias.
6. Click Save. You can also click the Test button to verify the current cloud account information.
