Entity List¶

Go to Unified Catalog > Entity List to view and manage entity assets such as systems, services, hosts, and databases in the current workspace.

Find Entities¶

By default, the page displays entities under the System type. The left side shows the entity count for each entity type. Click a type name to switch the view.

You can use the Project dropdown in the upper-left corner to filter by a specific project, or enter keywords in the search box at the top to perform fuzzy matching across all string fields.

Services¶

Go to Unified Catalog > Entity List and select Service from the entity types on the left to view and manage service assets in the current workspace.

The service list supports search, project filtering, custom columns, data export, as well as viewing, editing, and deleting services.

To manually add a service, click Add in the upper-right corner and select Service as the entity type. For field descriptions, see Create Entity.

Shortcut¶

Click the Settings icon in the left sidebar to quickly access:

• Create Entity: Enter new asset information

• Manage Entity Types: Go to the entity type management page to view preset types

List Actions¶

View Mode¶

All entity types (including custom types) support list view. When System is selected in the type bar on the left, you can also switch to card view from the upper-right corner.

List View¶

Displays entities of the selected type in a list, making it easy to review entity summaries and expand child entities as needed.

Using the System type as an example, the main list contains the following columns by default: Type, System Name, Health, Entity Count, System Type, Project, Importance, Team, Custom Tags, and Actions. You can sort by health in ascending or descending order.

View Child Entities¶

All entity types (including custom types) support expanding to view child entities in the list. Click the expand button before an entity row to view the list of child entities belonging to the current entity, including entity name, entity type, alert count, project, team, tags, and last updated time.

For example, you can expand a system to view its component entities, or switch to other preset or custom types and view child entities in the same way. Click a child entity name to open Entity Details and further view its metadata, relationship topology, and associated observability data.

Card View¶

Card view is better suited for quickly browsing the overall status of multiple systems. Each card focuses on one system and directly presents core summaries such as its health, total entity count, alerting entity count, and last alert time, without expanding the specific entity list to avoid information overload.

• The card header displays the system icon and name on the left, and the health status and action entry on the right.
• If the system has no alerts, the "last alert time" is displayed as -.
• If health cannot be calculated temporarily, it is marked as "Unknown".

Customize Columns¶

The fields in the entity list are dynamically generated based on the YAML configuration of the selected type. Click the Columns button in the upper-right corner to toggle the following fields:

• System Type: The classification identifier of the entity
• Project: The name of the project to which the entity belongs
• Environment: For example, production, testing, development
• Importance: For example, critical, normal
• Team: The name of the responsible team; click to jump to details
• Custom Tags: Up to 2 tags displayed

Export Data¶

Click the Export icon to export all entities under the current filter conditions (not limited by pagination) to CSV format.

View Details¶

Click an entity name in the list to slide out the details page on the right, which displays complete metadata, relationship topology, and associated observability data.

Quick Actions¶

Click the icon to:

• Edit: Modify entity information
• Delete: Delete the entity after confirmation
