How can Alibaba Cloud users activate Guance?

Alibaba Cloud users can register for Guance by selecting the "China Region 1 (Hangzhou)" site. Alternatively, you can also activate Guance by purchasing the Guance product on the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

If you want to use Alibaba Cloud SLS Log Service to store data in Guance, you can activate Guance by purchasing the Guance Exclusive Plan product on the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

How can AWS users activate Guance?

AWS users can register for Guance by selecting the "China Region 2 (Ningxia)" or "International Region 1 (Oregon)" site. After registration, you can settle payments using your AWS China account.

How can Huawei Cloud users activate Guance?

Huawei Cloud users can register for Guance by selecting the "China Region 4 (Guangzhou)" site. After registration, you can settle payments using your Huawei Cloud account.

What should I do if the activation process for Guance is interrupted?

If you have already registered a Guance account but have not yet created a workspace, you can log in with your registered account. After logging in, you will see the following page. You can choose the appropriate method to create a workspace according to your needs.

What is the difference between the Guance Commercial Plan and the Guance Exclusive Plan? Can they be switched between?

They cannot be switched between. The Guance Commercial Plan uses the default ES storage method, while the Guance Exclusive Plan uses the SLS storage method.

Note: Activating SLS storage is only supported by purchasing the Guance Exclusive Plan on the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. Existing Guance workspaces with default storage cannot be switched to SLS storage.

Why is a workspace locked?

If you choose to settle payments with an Alibaba Cloud account, once that account is released, expired, or deleted, the associated workspace will be automatically locked. Guance will send a related email notification. The same applies to AWS and Huawei Cloud accounts.

How to restore a locked workspace?

After a workspace is locked, please contact your customer manager. All subsequent unlocking operations will be handled by the Guance side.
