Volcengine Account Integration¶
By configuring Volcengine account authorization, Guance can collect and synchronize cloud resource monitoring data and asset information under your Volcengine account, enabling unified observation and management of Volcengine cloud services.
Prerequisites¶
- You must have Owner or Administrator permissions for the Guance workspace.
- DataFlux Func (Automata) must be enabled.
- You must have a Volcengine account and the permissions to obtain Access Key and Secret Key.
Steps¶
Step 1: Access Cloud Account Management¶
- Log in to the Guance console, go to Integrations > Cloud Account Management.
- Click Create Cloud Account in the upper right corner and select Volcengine.
Step 2: Enter Account Information¶
In the Create Cloud Account dialog box, configure the parameters as follows:
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Master Account ID | Yes | Enter the Volcengine master account ID. You can view it on the Account Management page in the Volcengine console. |
| Access Key | Yes | Enter the Volcengine Access Key. You can create and obtain it on the Access Control > Key Management page in the Volcengine console. |
| Secret Key | Yes | Enter the Volcengine Secret Key. It is used together with the Access Key for API request signature verification. |
| Account Alias | Yes | A custom alias to identify this cloud account in Guance. Supports up to 256 characters. |
Note
- The Volcengine master account ID cannot be empty. Ensure you enter the correct master account ID; otherwise, authentication will fail.
- Access Key and Secret Key are important credentials for calling the Volcengine API. Keep them secure and avoid leakage.
Step 3: Test and Save¶
- After configuration, click Test. The system will verify the validity of the account ID, Access Key, and Secret Key, and check whether the permissions meet the collection requirements.
- Once the test passes, click Save to complete the Volcengine account integration.
Configure Integrations¶
After the cloud account is created, authorization to Guance is complete. You can install integrations as needed under this account to start data collection.
- Click to enter the cloud account details page > Integrations to view all related integrations under the current account.
- Click Install on the right to go to the automatic installation page:
- The cloud account is automatically filled in.
- Select the appropriate region type as needed.
- The system will automatically identify the metrics included in the current integration script; you can remove metrics as needed.
- The filter currently supports the
=andinoperators.
- After installation, proceed with the script installation.
