Installing and Managing Integrations¶
On the Integrations page, you can install applications such as views and monitors provided by integrations, and configure cloud collectors for cloud services. Installing an integration and installing a cloud collector are two different operations.
Installation Status¶
Integrations are categorized by installation status into Not Installed (Available) and Installed for easier filtering and viewing.
| Status | Actions and Description |
|---|---|
| Not Installed | The Install button is provided in the upper-right corner of the integration card, allowing you to install the applications associated with the integration |
| Installed | You can access the integration details; when conditions are met, you can use the Related Events entry on the card to view collection anomaly and recovery events |
The installation status only indicates whether the integration is installed; it does not mean that the cloud collector has been successfully deployed in Func, nor does it mean that data collection is working properly. You can confirm the collection status by checking the related events and the data actually reported.
Installing an Integration¶
On the card of a not-installed integration, click Install. The system installs the associated views, monitors, and other applications according to the integration template and records the integration as installed. Applications with the same type and name are skipped to avoid duplicate creation.
Installing an integration does not require binding Func or configuring a cloud account. This operation is used to prepare data analysis and monitoring applications. If you need to collect cloud service data, continue to install the cloud collector.
Installing a Cloud Collector¶
Before installation, first enable DataFlux Func (Automata) and complete cloud account authorization. Also grant the cloud account the resource access permissions required for collection according to the corresponding integration documentation.
- In the integration details, navigate to the cloud collector installation configuration and select a cloud account. You can also access it from Cloud Account Management > Account Details > Integrations.
- Configure the region, metrics, and filter conditions as needed.
- Submit the installation to deploy the collection scripts and scheduled tasks to Func.
When installing a cloud collector, the system also performs the integration installation operation, prepares the related applications, and records the integration as installed. For the complete account configuration steps, see Configure the Cloud Collector.
If an installation failure is reported, troubleshoot based on the failure message and try again. After the installation is complete, confirm whether collection is working properly by checking the Func deployment results and the actual data reporting.
Viewing Related Events¶
Integrations with the cloud collector installed and Func configured display the Related Events entry. Click the entry on the card to go directly to the Related Events tab in the integration details, where you can view anomaly and recovery events generated during collection.
Click an event to view the anomaly cause or recovery status. For details, see Integration Related Events.
Uninstalling¶
| Action | Impact |
|---|---|
| Uninstall the integration | Changes the integration to Not Installed; retains the created applications, cloud collectors, and historical events |
| Uninstall the cloud collector | Removes the corresponding collection configuration, collection scripts, and scheduled tasks, and stops collection; does not automatically modify the installation status of the entire integration |
If you only need to stop collection for a specific integration under a cloud account, uninstall the cloud collector corresponding to that account.
