Volcengine SSL Certificates¶
The Volcengine SSL Certificate service enables HTTPS for websites and applications. It uses digital certificates to verify server identities and encrypts data transmitted between users and servers, preventing information theft or tampering.
By using Guance to monitor Volcengine SSL certificates, you can centrally view certificate domains, operating status, and remaining validity. It also automatically generates alerts when certificates are about to expire, become invalid, or are revoked, helping keep Volcengine SSL certificates valid and business HTTPS services running reliably.
Configuration¶
Install Func¶
We recommend enabling Guance Integration - Extensions - Managed Func. All prerequisites are installed automatically, so you can proceed with the script installation.
For a self-hosted Func deployment, see Self-host Func.
Install the Script¶
- Open Func's "Script Market" and search for
integration_volcengine_ssl_certificate. - Click 【Install】 and enter the Volcengine credentials and account information required on the installation page.
- Click 【Deploy Startup Script】. The system automatically creates the
Startupscript set and configures the corresponding startup script. - After enabling the script, you can find its automatic trigger configuration under "Management / Automatic Trigger Configuration." Click 【Execute】 to run it immediately, then use the task records and logs to confirm that data collection is working properly.
Verification¶
- In Func, open "Management / Automatic Trigger Configuration" and confirm that the corresponding task has been created.
- Review the task execution records and logs to confirm that the collection script runs without errors.
- In Guance, view the Volcengine SSL certificate data and confirm that the certificate domains, operating status, and remaining validity are available.
